This is one of my favorites. The scan by CPI Imaging in Duluth is phenomenal in the way it captures the 3-D dimensionality of the original. It looks very nice framed. Favors rooms that have highlights of blue, red or grey.

Winter time I move inside and work smaller. This was created at a time when I was doing a lot of ink on paper. I love the looseness of the imagery, as well as the expressions that can be formed from a minimal brushstrokes.

In 2010 I was testing different materials as surfaces for current painting concepts. In April of that year I'd been working on a series of images based on Daniel Craig and this one came across as quite striking. I'm always to in awe at how three dimensional painted objects can be made to appear on two dimensional surfaces.
