The Bunt

Study for "The Bunt"

This was my original concept drawn out for a 6 foot by 4 foot painting called The Bunt which I did in 1973. In baseball a bunt is the softest manner in which one can hit a baseball. It requires skill and technique, experience and concentration. I once knocked in the winning run in a Varsity baseball game with a bases loaded bunt.
